I think that Ghandi in this quote is trying to say that 2 wrongs dont make a right and that its not always revenge and payback that is the answer to a wrong doing. Sometimes people are so angry about something that might have happened to them or their family that they cant see straight or think straight and therefore may do something that they regret later. All we can do to open our eyes to this problem is try and forgive if possible, get advice and help from someone first, before we do something we may regret at a later date..
