Help i kelp getting jumped at school?

okay please help me evry day that we have gym cl it seems as though im the favorite target for people to jump like literally 20 minutes ago they jumped me right when the dismissal bell rung as i was leaving. it was about 4 maybe 5 boys that did it and two of them caught me from behind and start hiting me in the side and i kept trying to run but they kept going after me and then they got me into a corner and two morehoped and just started hitting me in the arms and chest by the way they werent dead serious because they never hit me in the face so what should i do and dont tell me to tell the teacher or principal because then more violence will happen for me snitching so im really leaning towards if i should just try and fight back and maybe theyll leave me alone so if possible can u give me some tips on how to keep them off of me or maybe how to fight them off thanks in advance by the way im in high school and im a 10th grade
