Interested in medicine but cannot tolerate blood, what are some potential careers?
I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Marketing in 2007 with a 3.0 GPA. I have always been interested in medicine and health sciences however I can't tolerate the sight of blood or surgery. I have entertained the idea of going back to school to become an RN or a pharmacist. The pharmacist path will take me at least 4 1/2 or 5 years and is heavy on chemistry which I am not wild about and the RN program takes 18 months but I am afriad I would not enjoy being a nurse because of the blood and bodily fluids. Any suggestions on possible degrees/career paths that satisfy the health services aspect but doesnt involve blood?
