A man is claiming me as his son after 22 years?

hi. im a 22 year old and i used to live with my aunt and uncle Lars before they were killed by imperial storm troopers. the i met a man named Ben who told me that my father was a great soldier and had fought with him in the clone wars. He was supposedly betraed by his freind, lets just call him DV. My mother had died in child birth. i was thrust into adventure and i saved a princess, and blew up a laser the size of earths moon. ben was killed by dv right before the lazer blew up. then i fought alot too make a long story short. my allies were being held captive by DV so I went to Cloud city to save them. i met DV and we had a lightsaber battle. He then Cut off my Hand and claimed that he was my father. I am now feeling strange inside and i kinda believed him HELP!!!
