Can anyone recommend an airline that will allow me to take my 9ft surfboard to Sri Lanka?

Also, I'll probably need to sort out transport from the airport to wherever the hotel/hostel is. Probably going to check out Hikkaduwa, or the Galle area. Any ideas?
