Can you help with this poem question?

For school I have to read the poem "The Sailing of the Sword" by William Morris. Three of the questions on a worksheet over it ask what the colors white, red, and brown have to do with the 3 different women. Alicia-red, Ursula-brown, and narrator-white. Thanks for the help!
