Eveline but pronounced 'Ever-Lin'. Acceptable?
Why is there an R in there? Ever-lin is a completely different name than Eveline and Evelyn. Everyone will pronounce it wrong. If you want people to get it right, you will have to spell it different. But that will ruin the meaning behind it. If its the middle name though, it may not matter. When asked she will say it and most likely someone wont need to know how to spell it. If someone does read it, they will say it wrong. But like I said, for a middle name, youre probably safe to go with the same spelling as your hubbys grandmother and pronounce it the same, even though the name and the pronunciation are different.
