Would you ever date outside your "clique" or cl?

I'm a pretty well raised kid. my family has money, the brains, athletics, cl ,nice house everything like that. we are upper middle cl. My sister and I were both discussing if we would date anyone outside our clique(you could say we are in the "popular" clique at our high school) and we both didn't think we could. Are we just insanely snobby or do we have a point? I don't think I could date anyone not in our cl or that doesn't have as much money as us. That probably sounds snobby, but it is the way i was raised. Would you ever date anyone outside your clique or in a lower cl then you? (lower, middle upper middle or high cl)
