How does Macbeth create a "hell on earth" after he killing King Duncan?

this is best seen in the scene with the old man (either Act 3 scene 3 or scene 4..?) the old man basically describes that after the 70 years that he has lived, he has never seen a night so frightening. the weather is detailed several times, portraying this "hell on earth." the weather reflects macbeth's deed in that it was very wrong. hope this helped!:)
